This month we are spotlighting Cherly C.M. who works in Kansas City as a DSP. She has been an ADC team member since March. We appreciate Cheryl because she is extremely dedicated! She learns quickly and is adaptable. It is easy to see that Cheryl truly loves our consumers and enjoys being with them everyday.
Q: What do you enjoy most about working at Austen-Dooley?
A: My clients that I work with everyday. I literally can’t wait to get to the house to see them.
Q: What is one piece of advice for others in your profession?
A: You will get attached to people, so know that if you want to go into this field.
Q: Who in your life inspires you and why?
A: My grandmother. She always taught me to treat people the way that I wanted to be treated. The golden rule, do unto others as you want done unto you.
Q: What do you like to do when you’re not at work?
A: Spend time with my children and grandchildren. I have four kids. My oldest is 24, and my youngest is two!
Q: What is something most people don’t know about you?
A: I am really an open book. If someone wants to know something, I tell them. I am allergic to fish though! I get food poisoning symptoms and have to go to the hospital.
