Q: What do you enjoy most about working at Austen-Dooley?

A: I enjoy working with other like-minded people who like to help those who cannot help themselves and want to give them a better life.

Q: What is one piece of advice for others in your profession?

A: Don’t worry if you’ve never done a job like this before. Austen-Dooley has a very open environment. We are open to new people; everyone here is really helpful. They share their ideas on how to make work fun and less of a job.

Q: Who in your life inspires you and why?

A: I would say my parents definitely inspired me. They’ve always been there for me to help me find the things that I enjoy doing. My mom and dad always gave me positive support and told me to never quit, and to keep doing what you love and what makes you happy.

Q: What do you like to do when you’re not at work?

A: At heart I am a gamer. I like first person games; right now, I’m into some fantasy games. Also, I have three ferrets at home, and I enjoy playing with them and making sure they’re happy.

Q: What is something most people don’t know about you?

A: When people first meet me, I am very quiet and shy, but once I get know you, I am actually really talkative and a very happy person.
