This month we are spotlighting Rhonda N. who works in Springfield as a DSP. She has been with Austen-Dooley for three years! We appreciate Rhonda because she has worked at multiple different homes, always with a smile on her face. She does a great job assisting and supporting other team members throughout her entire shift. She always goes the extra mile by taking on extra tasks to serve our clients and maintain their homes.
Q: What do you enjoy most about working at Austen-Dooley?
A: Working with the clients. Seeing the smiles on their faces.
Q: What drew you to this profession?
A: I have done this since I was 18. I started taking care of a family member, and I just stuck with it.
Q: What’s a good piece of advice you’ve been given? Who was it from?
A: My mom always told me to treat people they way you want to be treated. Treat people with respect.
Q: What do you like to do when you’re not at work?
A: Spend time with my family and grandchildren. I have seventeen grandbabies.
Q: What three words would your family or friends use to describe you?
A: Vocal, outgoing, and caring; I have a very big heart.
